Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Manufacturing Assembler in Grayslake to produce parts promptly and safely, reading BOMs and drawings, setting up and operating machines, and communicating with the Cell Lead on discrepancies.

Candidate should have a High School diploma or GED, basic computer skills, ability to read blueprints, and mechanical aptitude; familiarity with micrometers and calipers; contribute to quality inspections and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Set up and operate machines and assemble parts per Cell Lead.
• Read and understand BOMs and blueprints.
• Communicate with Cell Lead on discrepancies in drawings or BOM.
• Work with Quality Department to inspect during production and verify specs.
• Operate air and power tools as needed in the manufacturing process.
• Maintain productivity at or above production standards.
• Follow safety rules and procedures.
• Keep tools and workspace organized daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Produce products in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure product meets customer specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct inspections during production and verify quality.
• Communicate BOM/drawing issues to Cell Lead.
• Operate tools to support manufacturing process.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
