Job summary

Atkore International is hiring a Machine Operator in Kokomo, IN for 1st shift (7:00am - 3:30pm). The role pays $17.00/hour with a 7% quarterly incentive and requires basic knowledge of manufacturing machines and math skills.

You will receive orders, perform bending, cutting, swaging and punching, and ensure quality and packaging per specifications. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year in manufacturing preferred, and a team-focused attitude with safety and lean

Qualifications

• One year of manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adherence to Atkore Safety / Life Saving Rules is paramount.

• Check and receive manufacturing orders.
• Bending, cutting, swaging, punching.
• Set-up skids, racks and hex bundles.
• Banding, packaging and knowledge of supplies.
• Quality checking OD, gauge, length and packaging requirements.
• Problem solving.
• Standard work training, 5S, lean sustainment and problem solving.
• Obtaining quality product and meeting customer packaging requirements.
• Communication to apply strong manufacturing guidelines with strategic planning.
• All duties as instructed by supervision.
