Job summary

American Woodmark Corp. in Georgia seeks a Lamination Forklift Operator to support the Toccoa Plant's lamination/warehouse operations. The role requires operating a forklift, keeping records in Infinity software, and maintaining safety, quality, and 5S standards.

You will train on the job, obtain and maintain forklift certification, work with the lamination team and maintenance, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes may substitute.
• Experience in manufacturing; willingness to learn to operate the required position in the team.
• Strong communication and teamwork, with commitment toward SQDC goals.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, quality, production, materials and plant policies and procedures.
• Operate forklift safely and maintain active forklift license.
• Input data into Infinity software and report material transactions.
• Maintain 5S/clean area and assist cross-functional teams.
• Assist in training new or back-up operators.
