• Excellent communication skills; Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and execute receiving procedures for trucks in the computer system and logs.
• Operate the forklift safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with the saw operator to ensure correct boards meet specifications.
• Perform daily and periodic forklift maintenance checks.
• Sort and identify wood parts by size and finish.
• Cross-train in other machine centers as requested.
• Train new or backup material handlers as needed.
• Maintain warehouse integrity with accurate material placement.
• Read and process scheduling paperwork as needed.
• Load and unload trucks as necessary.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor or leadership.
