Job summary

Hamilton by Gunnebo is seeking a General Laborer for our Welding department on the 1st shift (6:00am to 4:30pm). You will perform final inspections, label packaged items, box and band products, and prepare form holders while participating in Lean activities to improve flow.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year in manufacturing with packaging experience, and hands-on use of basic hand tools. You must lift up to 25 pounds and stay on your feet during shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year in a manufacturing environment with packaging prep experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools.
• Familiarity with Lean concepts and continuous improvement.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds safely.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Self-motivated with good work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Complete final inspection on units.
• Apply correct labels to packaged items.
• Complete boxing and banding activities.
• Prepare form holders.
• Participate in Lean activities.
• Other duties as assigned to prevent bottlenecks.
• Perform work in a manner compliant with safety policies.
