Job summary

Standard Iron in Hartford, Wisconsin is hiring a General Laborer for the early First Shift (4am–2:30pm) in Production / Operations. You will help safely deliver defect-free products on time and support daily manufacturing tasks.

Responsibilities include leak testing and TIG welding touch-ups, forklift operation, grinding and fabrication, inventory control, following procedures for quality, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment while assisting the production team.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate forklifts and machinery.
• Capability to follow procedures and ensure quality.
• Comfort with manual fabrication and finishing tasks.
• Team-oriented attitude to support production staff.

Responsibilities

• Leak testing and repairs on fabricated metal tanks using TIG welding.
• Inventory process and control.
• Follow setup and operational procedures to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Operate forklift or other machinery to load, unload, sort, stage, and transport products.
• Grinding and fabrication of metal surfaces before and after testing.
• Provide team and production support across tasks.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow safety rules.
