Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms in Hattiesburg, MS, is seeking a forklift operator to join our debone area team. This role involves setting up the debone area, transporting finished product, and moving items as directed, with occasional Saturdays and Sundays and shift times starting at 6:00 AM.

You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, wear PPE, and follow safety rules. Prior forklift certification and basic math skills are preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• Relative poultry industry experience.
• Basic math functions and skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up the debone area with coolant, tubs and transportation of combos.
• Transport finished product to scales and manifest area.
• Move product to be reworked.
• Maintain forklift in sanitary manner and replace battery when needed.
• Work cooperatively with supervisors and coworkers.
• Follow directions and work in other departments as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
