Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC at the Collins Plant in Mississippi is seeking a Forklift Operator for the 1st shift to operate forklift equipment, set up the debone area, and transport finished product. You will handle movement of product to scales, to the manifest area, and to rework stations while adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift certification, and the ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Relative poultry industry experience preferred.
• Basic math functions and skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up the debone area with coolant, tubs and transport.
• Transport finished product to scales and manifest area.
• Move product to be reworked as needed.
• Maintain forklift in sanitary condition and replace battery when needed.
• Work cooperatively with supervisors and coworkers; follow directions and assist other departments as needed.
