Job summary

Copeland Scroll Compressors LP is seeking a Material Handler for the 1st shift to move and manage materials within our facility. You will operate forklift equipment to transport, receive, and store materials, ensuring accuracy of shipping documents and safety on site.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and forklift certification. Experience with materials handling and a willingness to work in a manufacturing environment are preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication is required.
• Basic computer skills, including Oracle MSCA scanner, after training.
• Fork truck certification/license is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, transport, receive, and store products in designated locations using pallet jacks, tugger, and skids.
• Assist other departments in movement of products and materials within the facility.
• Verify shipping details for quality and accuracy; review documents and expedite shipments affecting schedules.
• Resolve issues with Team Leader when problems arise.
• Collect and dispose of scrap materials; maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Coordinate with teams to provide forklift operations to support production needs.
