Job summary

Techmer PM is seeking a Material Handler for 1st shift allocations at our Compton, CA facility. The role focuses on loading, unloading, and moving materials within our warehouse using forklifts and hand trucks, ensuring accurate inventory movement and FIFO compliance.

Responsibilities include timely picking for production, cycle counts, updating records in D365, and adhering to safety and 6S standards. A High School diploma and forklift certification are required or pursued, with the ability to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs repeatedly.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience with warehouse safety and inventory processes.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials in a warehouse setting.
• Timely picking of materials to production or staging.
• Record material movements in ERP (D365) and scheduling sheets.
• Maintain FIFO practices where applicable.
• Support cycle counts and housekeeping (6S) in the warehouse.
• Communicate clearly with Lead or Supervisor; escalate issues as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
