Job summary

Motion is recruiting a Fabricator to join our team in Iowa. The role involves fabricating lightweight and heavy-duty belts and hoses, including cutting, splicing, and assembly tasks. You will read work orders, operate equipment, and participate in a safety-conscious production environment.

Starting pay is $20.50 per hour with progressive raises every 6 months for the first 36 months. The position requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 70 lbs with safety footwear.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand work orders.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Bale production and belt/hose fabrication operations.
• Cut rubber parts and perform cutting tasks.
• Operate extruder, splice, and other fabrication processes.
• Run forklift and manage material handling.
• Use measuring tools and maintain safety.
