Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Spokane Valley, WA is hiring a Dock Loader. The role loads and unloads trucks and trailers with attention to safety, accuracy, and quality, while managing manifests and inventory records.

The candidate should have 1–2 years of loading experience, prefer glass handling knowledge and be able to read and communicate in English. The position is full-time with benefits and requires teamwork in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of loading experience preferred, especially in a window manufacturing environment.
• Glass handling knowledge preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English to perform job functions.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks and trailers with 100% accuracy, safety and quality.
• Scan all products loaded into trucks 100%.
• Record and report safety or quality concerns to supervision.
• Unload and load trucks and trailers.
• Move windows, glass and doors from production floor to trailers by hand.
• Log deviations in count or condition to minimize delays.
• Read manifests, note errors, and follow loading instructions.
• Communicate discrepancies in manifests and trailer load status.
• Ensure load counts match between trailers and load lists.
• Coordinate with Leads, Shipping Coordinators, and Managers for timely trailer completion.
• Use hand trucks, dock carts, dock plates, wheel chalks and banding devices.
• Maintain clean and organized dock area and trailers.
