Job summary
Victaulic Company in Lower Nazareth, PA is hiring a Coating Process Technician for 1st shift to maintain and troubleshoot electrocoating and powder coating equipment. You will train maintenance staff, support PM programs, and work with Engineering to improve safety and efficiency on the shop floor.
The role requires mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, data analysis, and strong communication with Operations and Management.
Qualifications
- Experience in the maintenance of automated equipment and its operation to include electro/mechanical troubleshooting of pneumatics and industrial controls.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and PM/TPM strategies.
- Strong communication with Operations/Engineering to implement improvements.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical faults to support daily production.
- Diagnose machine issues and perform root-cause analysis for improvements.
- Collect and analyze data to maintain machine performance.
- Perform daily chemical analysis on electrocoat samples (pH, conductivity, solids).
- Support PM program improvements and TPM strategies.
- Maintain spare parts inventories and document repair history for trend analysis.
- Operate safely with PPE and follow spill response procedures.
