Job summary

High Steel Structures LLC in Lancaster, PA, is seeking experienced Coating Specialists/Industrial Painters for 1st shift to prepare metal surfaces and apply finishes such as paint and metalizing on steel bridge beams and cross members.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED; prior painting experience with a spray gun is preferred; sandblasting or powder coating experience is a plus; must read prints and use measurement tools to apply coatings as specified.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or general equivalence (GED) required.
• Previous painting experience, using spray gun, desired.
• Sandblasting or powder coating experience a plus.
• Ability to work from prints and specification tables, using adjustable layout and measuring instruments, and applying coatings to steel beams and cross members.

Responsibilities

• Perform surface preparation and apply standard finishes (paint, metalizing) to machined parts.
• Apply specified coatings to steel bridge beams and cross members.
