Job summary

KADANT BLACK CLAWSON LLC in Lebanon, OH is seeking a CNC Machinist for first shift (M-TH or T-F 6 AM to 4:15 PM) to manufacture components to precise dimensions and tolerances while meeting router hours and safety standards. Responsibilities include setting up, aligning, and operating CNC tools, selecting fixtures, inspecting tools, and adjusting speeds/feeds.

Candidates should read blueprints, perform basic programming, and maintain equipment.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints and plans to perform machining tasks.
• Strong math and problem-solving abilities a must.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with careful attention to tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, adjusts, and operates CNC tools to meet precise tolerances.
• Selects fixtures, aligns tools, and secures materials for machining.
• Calculates speeds, feeds, coolant flow, and cuts depth/angle.
• Monitors machine for malfunctions and out-of-tolerance conditions.
• Basic CNC programming and tool/part inspection.
• Cleans and maintains machines and tooling; edits CNC programs as needed.
• Suggests methods to improve production and quality.
