Express Employment Professionals is assisting a Park Rapids, MN manufacturing company in finding an experienced Machining Setup professional to join their team. You will set up, operate, troubleshoot, and adjust CNC machinery to produce quality metal parts on a fast-paced 1st shift.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years CNC operator/setup experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read measuring instruments and CNC programs. Competitive pay on a day shift.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC Operator experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Previous CNC machine setup experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills.
• Ability to read measuring instruments and follow work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual machines to produce metal parts.
• Complete changeovers, zero machines, set coordinates, adjust offsets.
• Read, interpret and edit CNC programs as needed.
• Change tooling and tool wear adjustments; monitor quality.
• Run multiple machines and inspect finished parts for defects.
• Troubleshoot machine, tooling and work-holding issues.
• Complete production paperwork and documentation.
• Collaborate with Quality and Engineering to improve processes.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and train teammates as needed.
