Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated Chemist to join our team on 1st shift. You will perform laboratory testing, analyze materials, maintain records, and support quality and production objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Previous laboratory or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written procedures and maintain detailed records.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical analyses per established procedures.
• Test materials and finished products for quality and compliance.
• Prepare samples, reagents, and laboratory solutions as needed.
• Document test results, observations, and activities.
• Review lab data and communicate results to teams.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and a clean work area.
• Follow laboratory safety and environmental procedures.
• Assist investigations and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production, R&D, and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
