Job summary

PDI is seeking a Laboratory Associate for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00am - 2:30pm) in New York. Responsibilities include validating incoming raw materials against USP/SOPs, performing chemical testing, and maintaining precise documentation in the analytical lab.

The role requires a chemistry degree and 0–3 years of lab experience, with proficiency in MS Office and strong communication skills. Safety protocols and GMPs are integral to daily duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry or related science.
• Must know Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• 0–3 years of laboratory experience in analytical chemistry or related field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze incoming raw materials per USP, SOPs, WIs, NPTM, and GMPs to ensure specifications.
• Maintain accurate documentation and release of materials.
• Calibrate instruments daily and record results.
• Perform tests (pH, viscosity, refractive index, specific gravity, etc.).
• Assist in sampling, testing and release of raw materials.
