Responsibilities
Perform testing on all lab samples in accordance with established procedures and testing instructions
Instrumentation includes: Particle Size Analyzer, FTIR, Karl Fischer, Brookfield Viscometer, Ash Determinations, analytical balances, APHA color testing, and software-assisted microscope analysis
Communicate test results to the Production team and provide adjustment recommendations when necessary
Review and confirm batch tickets and packing lists using SAP
Enter quality control data and make usage decisions within SAP
Prepare customer samples for shipment under the direction of the Sample Coordinator
Maintain lab equipment and overall laboratory cleanliness, including routine upkeep and preventive maintenance
Follow all safety protocols and actively promote a safe working environment
Comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality management standards
Print product labels using WERCS
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications
Associate degree in Chemistry or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
