Eaton is seeking a Cable Tray Welder on the 3rd shift in Sherman, TX. You will operate welding equipment, set up and troubleshoot machines, and ensure parts meet quality standards.

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered.

Eaton's ES GEIS BLDdivision is currently seeking aCable Tray Welder- 3rd Shiftat our location in Sherman, TX. The core hours are 10:00pm to 6:00am. The rate for this position is$22.71/hour + $1.20/hour shift differential per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you’ll do:

Operate production equipment specifically for the welding and fabrication of products.

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of weld operations, to include MIG, TIG of stainless steel and/or aluminum.
• Previous welding experience is a plus.
• Spot-welding experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Solid math skills; analytical and reasoning skills.
• Able to read, interpret blueprints, and use simple measuring tools

Position Criteria:

• Working knowledge of weld operations, including MIG, TIG of stainless steel and/or aluminum
• Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally to frequently (33-66%) and up to 75 lbs. occasionally by stooping, reaching, and bending with or without accommodation
• Ability to stand for eight hours plus while performing repetitious tasks with or without accommodation
• Ability to read blueprints and use simple measuring tools
• Ability to follow directions, work independently, and pay close attention to details
• Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product
• Ability to reach, grasp and manipulate
• Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays, as required by business need
• Requires PPE to include safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, leather gloves, and hearing protection (as required in high-noise areas)
• Environment exposure includes sharp objects, pinch points, oil, and sparks.
