Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Cable Tray Welder on the 3rd shift in Sherman, TX. You will operate welding equipment, set up and troubleshoot machines, and ensure parts meet quality standards.

The role requires reading blueprints, handling data entry, and maintaining supplies for efficient production. Ideal candidates have MIG/TIG welding experience and strong math/reading skills, with the ability to work overtime as needed in a manual, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment specifically for the welding and fabrication of products.
• Set up, understand and proficiently operate all welding equipment.
• Troubleshoot various and appropriate machine problems.
• ID and tag shop orders with the product. Retrieve/enter data into the system.
• Ensure quality and proper documentation on all parts.
• Maintain components and supplies as required to operate efficiently.
• Weld components based on print specifications.
