Job summary

Arbor Wellness seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to help maintain a safe environment for clients and support program routines. You will monitor clients, document changes, and assist therapy staff to address clinical needs while upholding privacy and professional boundaries.

Key duties include de-escalation, incident reporting, and collaboration with the team. Requirements include a high school diploma and experience in mental health or substance use services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in substance abuse and/or mental health preferred.
• Valid state driving license with no major violations in past five years.

Responsibilities

• Record inventory logs of personal belongings and tickets in the safe.
• Monitor clients at all times and log whereabouts.
• De-escalate disruptive behavior and ensure safety.
• Attend staff meetings and required trainings.
• Maintain clean work areas and proper supply levels.
• Protect client privacy per facility policies.
• Provide emotional support and refer to therapy staff as needed.
• Transport clients as needed and complete paperwork neatly.
