Job summary

HealingUS Centers in Fort Myers, FL seeks a Behavioral Tech to support clients with daily needs, ensure safety, and provide a comforting environment during treatment. You will assist with transportation, monitor patients, record observations, diffuse distress, alert medical staff in emergencies, and uphold strict patient confidentiality.

Our Behavioral Tech team is vital to the success of our clients. Our technician staff is expected to provide a safe, secure, and comforting environment for our clients to continue their treatment.

Responsibilities

• Assist client with daily needs (transportation, cooking, emotional support)
• Ensure client safety when on the property
• Ensure all rules and regulations are being adhered
• Monitoring patients and recording your observations
• Diffusing situations in which patients wish to harm themselves or others
• Alerting medical professionals to intervene in emergencies
• Maintaining strict patient confidentiality

Requirements

• Have a clean driving record
• Have flexibility with scheduling

Experience

• Behavioral health: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification

• Driver's License (Preferred)
