Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to help maintain a safe environment and support clients through program routines. The role emphasizes client safety, privacy, and compassionate care across extended shifts.

Responsibilities include supervising clients, logging activities, assisting staff, and coordinating with therapy teams to address concerns while maintaining professionalism and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED preferred.
• Experience in substance abuse and/or mental health preferred.
• Valid state driving license with no major violations in past five years.

Responsibilities

• Records inventory log of belongings and valuables.
• Monitor clients and log whereabouts during shifts.
• De-escalates AMA and other client problems.
• Maintain continuity of care logbook and shift turnover notes.
• Attend required staff training and safety meetings.
• Provide emotional support and refer clients to therapy staff.
• Protect client privacy in accordance with facility policies.
• Transport clients as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
