Job summary

Bolthouse Fresh Foods in Bakersfield, CA, is seeking a Mechanic Automotive-Truck - South Shop to support day-to-day maintenance of light and heavy-duty vehicles, semi-trucks, trailers and forklifts. This 1st shift full-time role requires hands-on repair and preventive maintenance expertise.

You will inspect, diagnose, and repair engines, electrical and hydraulic systems, document repairs, and coordinate with supervisors to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years' auto/truck maintenance experience.
• Safe driving record; background check.
• Experience with diesel/gas engines and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and document needed repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance like oil changes and tune-ups.
• Repair air conditioning, electrical, cooling and hydraulic systems.
• Test drive and diagnose with computerized devices.
• Coordinate with supervisors and schedule maintenance.
