Job summary

Bolthouse Fresh Foods in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Truck Driver/Service Technician Mechanic. You will transport agricultural equipment across California, perform basic preventive maintenance, and ensure DOT compliance.

The role requires a valid California Class A CDL with Doubles Endorsement, clean driving record, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Shifts are mostly 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two to three years experience may substitute.
• Valid California CDL with Doubles Endorsement required.
• Must maintain a clean driving record; background check will be conducted.
• HAZMAT endorsement or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport agricultural equipment and supplies between company locations across California.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; maintain driver logs per DOT regulations.
• Assist with minor preventive maintenance and basic repairs.
• Operate pilot vehicles for escort of oversized equipment.
• Load/unload equipment safely and maintain shop and job sites in a clean, safe condition.
