Custom Truck One Source is seeking a Mechanic - Utility Trucks and Equipment in Bakersfield, CA. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining truck-mounted utility equipment with hands-on experience onBoom, Bucket, Diggers, and other equipment.

Highly skilled technicians will perform diagnostics using Bendix, Wabco, Cummins Insite, and Nexiq; ensure safety, document repairs, and attend ongoing training programs to stay current with industry standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience with utility truck equipment, diesel, medium or heavy trucks or related equipment.
• Software diagnostics such as Bendix, Wabco, Cummins Insite, and Nexiq Diagnostic Link.
• Computer skills and ability to document repair activity.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, repair and/or replace damaged/worn parts on a variety of vocational/utility trucks & equipment.
• Provide repair and maintenance to medium/heavy duty trucks; hydraulics and electrical knowledge a plus.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of parts, services and labor to track costs.
