Job summary

PEI Genesis in South Bend, IN is hiring 1st Shift General Production Assemblers (Monday - Friday, 7:00-3:30pm) to assemble connectors in a clean, climate-controlled facility. You will follow work orders, meet quality and delivery guidelines, and maintain orderly work areas.

The role requires attention to detail, strong hand-eye coordination, and the ability to read and follow specifications. We offer benefits, a sign-on bonus, and a flex schedule options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, specifications and instructions as outlined on the work orders.
• Demonstrate excellent manual dexterity in assembling small components.

Responsibilities

• Assemble connectors per work orders and instructions.
• Read, understand and follow work orders, specifications and special instructions.
• Complete production documentation and ensure on-time delivery per facility standards.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Use measurement equipment such as gauges, micrometers, or calipers.
