Job summary

PEI Genesis in South Bend, IN is hiring 1st Shift General Production Assemblers (Monday - Friday, 7:00-3:30pm) to assemble connectors in a clean, climate-controlled facility. You will follow work orders, meet quality and delivery guidelines, and maintain orderly work areas.

The role requires attention to detail, strong hand-eye coordination, and the ability to read and follow specifications. We offer benefits, a sign-on bonus, and a flex schedule options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, specifications and instructions as outlined on the work orders.
• Demonstrate excellent manual dexterity in assembling small components.

Dependents can be added, but a premium will apply.ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned.)Value-Add (assemble) connectors per the work order and work instructions.Read, understand and follow work orders, specifications and “special” instructions as outlined on the work orders.Read, understand and complete all production department documentation and work instructions to the PEI-Genesis, ISO9001 and AS9100 standard.Use of equipment or machinery used in the value-add process.
