Job summary

Ferco Aerospace is seeking a skilled fabricator for the Bench department on 1st shift. You will manually manipulate metal to meet tight tolerances, read detailed blueprints, and work in a climate-controlled facility with a small company feel.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. Overtime may be required during peak workloads and special projects; benefits, 401K matching, paid time-off, and paid holidays are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical work with fitting, alignment, light machining, and tolerances.
• Shape and manipulate metal to specification using tools and machines.
• Troubleshoot and rework production items as needed.
• Work from complex instructions with minimal supervision.
• Maintain good attendance and a strong work ethic.
