Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Valid Indiana teaching license OR enrolled in / willing to enroll in a state-approved transition-to-teaching program.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily ELA and Math instruction using school-adopted curriculum with 100% fidelity.
• Use assessment data from weekly/bi-weekly data cycles to drive instruction and small-group work.
• Implement SIOP-aligned instructional strategies to support Multilingual Learners.
• Conduct regular student conferencing to know each child as an individual learner.
• Maintain a structured, positive classroom using PBIS systems.
• Actively participate in coaching cycles, feedback sessions, and PD.
• Build proactive, authentic relationships with families through consistent communication.
• Collaborate with restorative team, MLL director, SPED staff, and intervention teachers.
• Support morning circles and school-wide culture initiatives.
