Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. is seeking two Stationary Engineers in Philadelphia to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on steam, chiller, and HVAC systems. Roles involve monitoring energy use and ensuring reliable utility distribution to maintain climate control across facility spaces.

Ideal candidates will hold a Class A Engineer’s license, CFC certification, and have several years of experience with boilers, chillers, BAS, and fire alarm controls.

Qualifications

  • High school or GED diploma.
  • Current Class A Engineer’s license.
  • CFC Universal Certificate.
  • 3 years’ experience with heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
  • 3 years’ experience with fire alarm system panel controls.
  • 3 years’ experience with BAS controls and programming.
  • 2 years of boiler and chiller room operations.
  • Knowledge of High Pressure Steam Operations and Heat Transfer.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, corrective and general maintenance and repairs.
  • Take immediate action to resolve emergency situations or system breakdowns.
  • Monitor, tune and troubleshoot the consumption of HVAC utilities to keep spaces properly conditioned.
  • Occasionally supervise work direction or instruction of other employees.
