Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Journeyman Apprenticeship strongly preferred.
• Two to five years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a Maintenance Mechanic is required.
• Solid mechanical abilities and troubleshooting skills are essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in a self-directed team environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, repairs, and installs equipment with emphasis on mechanical and pipefitting tasks.
• Operates and assists with crane operations.
• Completes scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Operates forklift safely and efficiently.
• Accesses all areas of the plant and works at elevated heights as needed.
