Job summary

Rodriguez Law Firm, PLLC in Tysons, Virginia, seeks an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney for our in-person team. You will manage personal injury cases from filing through trial with real courtroom experience.

Requirements include at least five first-chair jury trials, active license in Virginia or Maryland (and to obtain VA, MD, and DC licenses within one year). Strong deposition, discovery, motions, mediation and trial skills, plus excellent communication and organization.

Qualifications

• At least five first-chair jury trials in personal injury cases.
• Licensed and in good standing in Virginia or Maryland.
• Must become licensed in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC within one year of joining.
• Significant personal injury litigation experience.
• Ability to independently manage cases from filing through trial.
• Strong experience with depositions, discovery, motions, experts, mediation, and settlement negotiations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Plaintiff’s personal injury experience preferred; defense with PI trial experience also welcome.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury cases in litigation from filing through resolution or trial.
• Develop litigation strategy; take/defend depositions; handle discovery and motions.
• Work with medical and expert witnesses; conduct mediations and settlements.
• Serve as first-chair trial counsel and prepare cases for trial.
