Gordon Feinblatt LLC seeks an experienced attorney to join our premier Maryland energy and public utility practice, offering a first-chair role in high-stakes regulatory matters. You will lead complex CPCN, rate cases, and policy initiatives with substantial client contact.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in energy/public utility law, Maryland bar admission or waiver, and a track record before the Maryland PSC or related bodies. Flexible, remote-friendly environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• First-chair experience in contested regulatory, administrative, or judicial proceedings.
• Willingness to work collaboratively within a growing multidisciplinary team.
• Maryland barred or eligible to waive into the Maryland bar.
• Significant experience in energy, environment, and public utility law, ideally 6+ years.
• Experience appearing before the Maryland Public Service Commission; experience with FERC or other state commissions is valued.

Responsibilities

• Take a leading position on sophisticated regulatory work, including CPCN permitting and utility rate cases.
• Handle high-stakes matters before the Maryland Public Service Commission and other venues.
• Shape and grow the energy and environmental practice through first-chair representation.
• Provide strategic advice on interconnection, energy storage, and related issues.
