Qualifikationen

• Bar license in California in good standing.
• 2+ years of plaintiff-side civil litigation; elder abuse preferred.
• Strong legal writing, deposition and courtroom skills.
• Ability to manage a substantial caseload remotely.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage nursing home abuse and neglect litigation from intake through trial.
• Draft and argue dispositive and discovery motions, including arbitration issues.
• Review medical records, care plans, and related data to build theories of liability.
• Coordinate with nursing, geriatric medicine, and forensic experts.
• Maintain empathetic client communication and manage expectations.
• Develop settlement strategies and negotiate with defense counsel and insurers.
• Mentor junior attorneys and staff as the department grows.
