Clera is seeking its first CFO to build and lead the finance function for a fintech AI-powered company. You will report to the CEO and partner with leadership on strategy, pricing, and growth, while establishing scalable finance systems and processes using AI tools.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in investment banking or private equity, with fintech/payments leadership and strong financial modeling, and fluency in Spanish and English for interaction with C-level bank executives.

Qualifications

• Five to eight years in investment banking or private equity, with tech experience.
• Finance leadership in fintech or payments with strong modeling.
• Knowledge of payments economics, including interchange and fees.
• Regular use of AI tools in work.

Responsabilités

• Own financial planning, modeling, and forecasting.
• Analyze deal economics, including interchange, acquiring fees, payment flows.
• Help shape pricing and commercial terms with bank and fintech clients.
• Build relationships with senior client stakeholders and participate in executive meetings.
• Develop finance systems and processes using AI tools.
• Prepare the business for growth and evaluate future capital options.
