Job summary

Wwshemi is seeking the first CFO for an AI-powered fintech serving banks and other financial institutions. You will establish the finance function and partner with leadership on strategy, pricing, and growth, reporting to the CEO.

You will own FP&A, model deal economics, shape pricing with clients, and build finance systems using AI tools. Travel to Costa Rica or Miami 1–2 times monthly is expected. Remote within the Americas with Miami as primary location and English/Spanish fluency essential.

Qualifications

• Five to eight years of experience in investment banking or private equity, ideally with experience moving into or working in technology.
• Experience as a finance leader in fintech or payments, with strong financial modeling skills.
• Knowledge of payments economics, including interchange, acquiring fees, and payment flows.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English, with strong communication skills and comfort engaging with C-level bank executives.
• Ability to travel to Costa Rica or Miami one to two times per month.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary ranges from $150,000 to $250,000 USD annually, depending on location. Equity of 1.5% to 2% in stock options is offered. Visa sponsorship information was not provided.
