Job summary

White Horse Golf Club in Kingston, WA seeks a First Assistant to support daily course operations, manage tournaments, teach lessons, and oversee facility assets while delivering spectacular customer service.

The role leads the assistant management team, coordinates handicapping, tee times, and speed of play, and trains pro shop staff, with opportunities to advance to higher roles such as Head Professional.

Qualifications

• Class A Member in good standing preferred; Associate in good standing required as a professional certification.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of golf operations experience with staff oversight.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive relationships between the golf club, golfers, guests, employees, and the community.
• Assist with event outings, scorecards, cart signs, scoreboard designs and setup; oversee tournaments and lessons programs.
• Lead administrator for all club handicapping needs and monitor GHIN handicaps for accuracy.
• Maintain a safe, hazard-free environment and comply with OSHA training.
• Manage driving range operations to maximize utilization and revenue.
• Oversee tee times, pace of play, and check-in of players; train pro shop staff.
