Job summary

Impact Electronic Solutions is seeking a First Article Technician in Grants Pass, OR to build and validate cable and harness assemblies per AS9100 Rev D and customer drawings. You will contribute to prototype development and ensure quality compliance while coordinating with engineering and production teams.

The role requires reading blueprints, interpreting specifications, and working overtime as needed. A high school diploma and assembly experience are preferred, with benefits including 401(k),

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Able to stand or sit for 8+ hours per day.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Build cable and harness assemblies per customer documentation and engineering drawings.
• Review customer supplied prototype specifications.
• Generate assembly instructions for prototype assemblies.
• Identify and document discrepancies or issues during assembly and processes.
• Collaborate with quality assurance and engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Perform special assignments as required.
