Job summary

SQA Services in the OC/LA area is seeking a Cable and Harness Inspector to join our global inspection team. You will perform first‑article, in‑process, and final inspections at supplier sites, verify product conformance, and review documentation to ensure accuracy.

Requirements include a Diploma or GED (engineering degree preferred), knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods, IPC‑A‑620 familiarity, ability to read schematics, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or GED (engineering degree preferred)
• Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods
• Ability to read electronic schematics and assembly drawings
• Knowledge of IPC-A-620 Standards (certification a plus)
• Strong English communication skills
• US Citizenship required and background checks

Responsibilities

• Perform first-article, in-process, and final cable wire harness inspections at supplier sites in the OC/LA area
• Verify products meet quality requirements and specifications
• Verify safety wiring, turns, and pigtails per specification
• Verify shipping documentation and part/serial numbers
• Identify and record non-conformances; ensure documentation accuracy
• Maintain organized work area and support production schedules
