Job summary

CoAspire in Northern Virginia is seeking an electronics assembler to join our defense-focused manufacturing team. You will assemble, fabricate, repair, and test electrical harnesses and electromechanical assemblies used in prototype systems and test equipment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
2+ years in cable harness/EM assembly in manufacturing.
Able to read engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and BOMs.
Proficient with hand tools, wire strippers, crimpers, soldering equipment.
Able to troubleshoot and rework electrical assemblies and harnesses.

Responsibilities

Assemble, fabricate, and repair electrical and electromechanical assemblies for prototype systems and test support equipment.
Build, route, terminate, and inspect cable and wire harnesses per engineering drawings and industry standards.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform rework to ensure quality and functionality.
Review vendor-supplied harness drawings to verify manufacturability and tooling requirements.
Support testing and integration by assembling and maintaining prototype hardware and support equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following quality procedures.
