- looking for a Cable and Harness Technician to support our Gilbert Manufacturing Center. As a member of the Harness
- Manufacturing department you’ll get to embark on a career putting innovative, reliable, and agile products and ideas into orbit, and beyond.
- This position will serve on-site at our Gilbert, AZ Campus.
Responsibilities:
- Manufacture cable / harness products. Reads and interprets Work Instructions, schematics, wirelists, and drawings.
- Ensures quality of the hardware is maintained and company procedures are followed.
- Ensures work is done with completeness, accuracy, adherence to operation sheets, ISO procedures, schedules, and assign tasks.
- Provides regular communication to shop leads and Work Center management on status and technical issues.
Basic Qualifications for Cable and Harness Technician 1:
- High School Diploma or GED plus a minimum of 5 additional years of education and/or relevant experience in assembly, electronics, manufacturing, production or logistics.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical assembly and wiring.
- Must be capable of successfully completing certification to IPC WHMA-A-620 (Cable and Wire Harness Assembly) and NASA-J-STD.
- ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) and Crimping Experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications for Cable and Harness Technician 1:
- Graduate from Technical Trade School
- Current certification to IPC WHMA-A-620, NASA-J-STD; or other certifications in electronics assembly and workmanship.
- Experience with MES applications including workflow, signoff and documentation.
