Job summary

Everpure’s Embedded Firmware Simulation Engineer role focuses on building high-fidelity virtual platforms to accelerate SSD firmware development. You will develop and maintain firmware simulation environments and create accurate hardware models to abstract controller logic and PCIe/NVMe behaviors.

You will also design instrumentation tools, automate CI/CD for firmware releases, and collaborate with ASIC vendors to validate firmware against RTL before silicon availability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building high-fidelity simulation software for embedded, firmware, or hardware systems.
• Expert in C/C++ and Python for firmware and modeling.
• Experience with simulation tools (QEMU, SystemC, TLM, ISA simulators).
• Strong firmware-hardware interaction understanding and RTL-to-software translation.
• Knowledge of PCIe/NVMe protocols.
• Onsite work in open office environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain firmware simulation environments (e.g., QEMU).
• Create high-fidelity hardware models for PCIe/NVMe and NAND behaviors.
• Design instrumentation tools to profile performance and analyze failures.
• Automate CI/CD to integrate simulation into firmware release and validation.
• Partner with ASIC vendors to validate firmware against RTL and digital designs.
