Job summary

Lenovo is seeking a Firmware Technical Project Manager in Morrisville, NC to lead large-scale BMC firmware and UEFI programs across multiple projects and sites. You will own end-to-end program delivery, drive cross-functional execution, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Project Management, or related leadership roles within software, hardware, firmware, embedded systems, or enterprise IT environments.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
• Expertise in Jira, including workflow customization, dashboards, reporting, filters, and Confluence integration.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics.
• Drive execution to ensure timely delivery of commitments and business objectives.
• Identify, assess, track, and mitigate program risks, issues, and blockers.
• Provide clear, accurate, and timely status updates to engineering teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
• Partner with engineering leads to decompose complex technical problems into actionable workstreams and deliverables.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to resolve defects and implement feature enhancements.
