RTX is hiring entry level Firmware Engineers to support DoD programs in Largo, FL. You will work on FPGA/SOC/CPLD firmware development alongside an IP team in an onsite role, supporting test, debugging, and integration activities.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM field.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Generate firmware requirements based on the system architecture.
• Generate firmware documentation that describes the firmware architecture.
• Design HDL-based digital circuits that are structured and readable.
• Build test benches to verify/test the HDL-based design.
• Generate constraints for target device.
• Create scripts to automate build, integration, and test activities.
• Verify target device functionality in laboratory environment.
