Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded firmware development with architectural ownership and technical leadership.
• 3+ years SSD industry experience with Common Services firmware, ARC processors, compilers and build environments.
• Expert-level proficiency in C and/or Rust; deep knowledge of PCIe/NVMe storage architectures.
• Experience collaborating across hardware, silicon, system software and product teams to deliver complex solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve Common Services firmware architecture and technical strategy across SSD products and storage platforms.
• Lead the design of embedded firmware solutions, establish engineering standards, and drive architectural decisions.
• Partner with hardware, silicon, software, and product teams to solve system-level challenges and optimize storage stack.
• Communicate architecture plans, technical risks, and technology recommendations to engineering and business partners.
• Mentor senior engineers, promote engineering excellence, and lead adoption of AI-assisted development practices.
