Job summary

EY is seeking a Firewall Operations Solution Architect/Network Sensing Analyst to deploy, configure, and manage firewall and network sensing solutions across client environments. You will monitor traffic, analyze events, respond to incidents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold security and compliance.

You will work within a fast-paced, hybrid EY environment, supporting change requests and problem resolution to protect client networks and advance cybersecurity maturity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in network security operations, focused on firewall management.
• Hands-on experience with firewall products.
• Knowledge of Checkpoint and Tufin.
• Experience with Splunk and Netography.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and optimize firewall solutions to establish effective security controls.
• Monitor network traffic and security events to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct root cause analysis and remediation for security incidents.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and respond to incidents.
• Develop and maintain firewall policies, rules, and documentation.
• Support security audits and assessments.
• Stay updated on emerging threats and technologies to enhance security posture.
• Assist in security awareness training on firewall operations and best practices.
• Mentor junior analysts on firewall management and incident response processes.
