Job summary

EY is seeking a Firewall Operations Solution Architect/Network Sensing Analyst to deploy, configure, and manage firewall and network sensing solutions across client environments. You will monitor traffic, analyze events, and respond to incidents to uphold network integrity while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role focuses on operational coverage, change management, and problem resolution in line with industry standards and EY’s security practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in network security operations with a focus on firewall management.
• Hands-on experience with firewall products is required.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and optimize firewall solutions to establish effective security controls.
• Monitor network traffic and security events to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct thorough analysis of security incidents, including root cause analysis and remediation.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain firewall policies, rules, and documentation to align with best practices and compliance requirements.
• Provide support for security audits and assessments, promoting adherence to security standards and policies.
• Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies to enhance the organization’s security posture.
• Assist in the development and implementation of security awareness training for staff.
