Job summary

Katmai Government Services seeks an experienced Fires training SME to provide support to the ARNG Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP). You will train unit commanders and staff from battalion through division, develop doctrinal workshops, and assist in exercise design, planning, execution, and AARs.

Responsibilities include developing Schemes of FIRES, coordinating with MDMP, designing injections, delivering on-site coaching, and ensuring compliance with government guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Senior Army/ARNG leadership with training management background and CT CTC experience preferred.
• Primary staff experience at Battalion level or higher.
• 6+ years WFF staff experience or 8 years MCTSP experience.
• Proficient in Fires doctrine, MDMP, and Army/Joint Fires doctrine.
• Experience in ARNG training; MC Systems: AFATDS, AMDWS, CPOF.
• Two+ years in WFF Army C2 systems.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fires training to unit staff and officers.
• Develop FIRES schemes, Annex D, and related tasks.
• Coach coordination of Fire Support for large-scale exercises.
• Provide SME on LVC-G training methods and simulations.
• Lead AARs and analyze exercise outcomes.
• Prepare Final Exercise Reports (FER) inputs.
• Synchronize MTC training assets across events.
• Maintain access to sensitive data and attend gov meetings.
• Ensure safety, compliance and equipment safeguarding.
